What were the main findings from the studies?

  • MICARDIS® 80 mg once daily consistently showed superior reduction in blood pressure in the last 6 hours of the dosing interval compared with ramipril 10 mg in both studies.2,3
  • MICARDIS® significantly reduced 24-hour mean, morning, daytime and night-time blood pressure compared with ramipril 10 mg.2,3
  • MICARDIS® was well tolerated, with a lower incidence of cough than seen with ramipril.2,3
